Inspired by the beauty of the sea, we created a brand identity and package design for Pescanova, a 50-year-old Spanish seafood company looking to launch their first U.S. retail line—Seafood Tapas, a line of delightfully delicious skewers made with sustainably-sourced shrimp and fish.

We strategized and built the Seafood Tapas brand from the ground up, and it all began with a love for seafood and the people who make it possible.

Paying homage to the unique origins behind each Pescanova Seafood Tapas product, we reimagined Pescanova’s actual fishing vessel in majestic watercolor. This hand-painted work of art is the cornerstone of the brand identity, much like the fisherman themselves are the cornerstone of Pescanova seafood.

 
 

Bold, appetite-stirring photography makes the food the star with shots of tender shrimp and fish, accented by rich, internationally-inspired sauces. 

Flip over to the back of pack where delightful romance copy seduces you with the story of sustainable seafood, designed to be shared and savored by all.

Taking inspiration from the Japanese art of fish printing or Gyotaku, we created hand-painted watercolor fish illustrations, designed to bring to life the beauty of the quality seafood inside every Pescanova pack.

 

 

Pescanova Seafood Tapas is truly a work of art. 

The brand identity makes a proud statement on pack, and its strength allows for turnkey extensibility to future product ranges, such as Seafood Classics shown below.
